  • If we accept that in 99% of cases auditors and Audit Bodies do a good job auditing – is this good enough given the impact on consumers of unsafe food?
  • Do we have a mechanism for learning from cases where we could have done better?
  • Is there enough Due Diligence of audit integrity to support a Due Diligence Defence?
